Obituary of RICHARD PATTERSON

On October 4, 2010, our beloved son, brother, father, and friend went home to be with our Lord and Savior. Born July 3, 1987, Richard was loved by many and as well will be missed by many. He was a long-time employee of Forest and Wildlife Innovation. Richard is survived by his loving son, Logan Arley Patterson and fiancée, Samantha Barefoot; his mother, Vanessa Patterson and her husband Dean Henning; his father, Harry Patterson and his wife Rhonda Patterson; sister, Maryann Patterson; brother, Harry Patterson II; step-brother, Robbie Felkel; and step-sister, Rebecca Felkel. He is also survived by a paternal grandmother, Anne Patterson and a maternal grandfather, Richard Hellman Sr.; a maternal grandmother, Sadie Padgett; and grandfather and grandmother, Bobby and Sharon Dantzler; sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces and nephews: Christina Hayden, Justin Thames, Brooke Windham, Harry Patterson III, McKenna Patterson, and Jaylin Thames. He was predeceased by a brother, Christopher Patterson; grandfather, Pat Patterson and grandmother, Mary Hellman. Richard, we all love you so much. Rest in peace and we will reunite as a family at the gates of heaven. Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm, Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 845 Leesburg Rd. Columbia, SC 29209 with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Friday evening at Greenlawn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer for donations to be made to an account for Richard?s son, Logan Arley Patterson at any branch location of Bank of America.
