Obituary of Edward Comeau

Memorial services for Edward P. Comeau, Sr., 60, of Columbia will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Monday, November 1, 2010 at Greenlawn Funeral Home Chapel with full military honors. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be private in Greenlawn Memorial Park Serenity Gardens. At all other times friends my visit the family at the home. The family has entrusted Greenlawn Funeral Home with the arrangements. Mr. Comeau was born on May 19, 1950 in Boston, MA and passed away on Monday, October 25, 2010. He was the son of the late Joseph and Margaret Comeau. Mr. Comeau was a devoted husband, beloved father, best friend and avid golfer. Ed was very active in Fort Jackson Masonic Lodge 374 as a 32nd degree Mason and also a member of both the Scottish and York Rite. Mr. Comeau was a retired Vietnam Veteran from the United States Army. Mr. Comeau is survived by his loving wife, Donna Comeau; son, Edward Comeau, Jr., daughter-in-law, Janet Comeau; granddaughter, Jessica Comeau; his brothers, Joseph Comeau and Jerry Comeau and their spouses; his sister, Cathy Condon, and many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. He was predeceased by parents, and also by a sister, Peggy Griguere.
