Obituary of JoAnn Kight

A graveside service celebrating the life of JoAnn Ellis Kight, 55, Columbia, SC will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, November 12, 2010 in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday at the Greenlawn Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to a charity of one?s choice. The family has entrusted Greenlawn Funeral Home with the arrangements. Mrs. Kight passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2010. She was born in Charleston, SC to the late Lewis C. Ellis and Ruth Hutchinson Ellis. Mrs. Kight was a Registered Nurse. Surviving are her loving husband of 32 years, Raymond Larry Kight, Jr.; a daughter, Ruthanne (Bobby Newman) Kight; a son, Raymond Larry (Amanda) Kight, III; two grandchildren, Matthew Ayden Kight and Olivia Rae Newman; and a host of other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.
