Obituary of ALBERT PEELE

Funeral services for Albert Peele, 84, of Columbia, will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 14, 2011 at Soul?s Harbor Church West Columbia with burial to follow in Olympia Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 ? 8pm at Greenlawn Funeral Home. Mr. Peele passed away Monday, January 10, 2011 at Lexington Medical Center. He was born March 19, 1926 in Orangeburg, SC to the late Lloyd and Lulu Peele. Mr. Peele was a long time resident of Columbia, SC, an Army Veteran of World War II, and a retiree of Olympia Granby Mill. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mable Paris Peele; son, A.L. Tedder; and step-son, James Groves. Surviving are his stepchildren, (special step-daughter), Mary Frances Ferrell and (Willie) of Columbia; Otis Paris of Columbia; Danny Paris of Columbia; Barbara NeSmith and (Eddie) of Lugoff; Carolyn Walters and (Keith) of NC; Betty Curtis of Texas; Irene Tedder of Florida; and Johnny Tedder of Swansea; (Special granddaughter) Angela Sharpe and (Billy); Grandsons, Troy L. Tedder and Randall Tedder. Mr. Peele also had many beloved Step-grandchildren, and Great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed, my last anchor in the world ? Angela Tedder Sharpe.
