Obituary of Anna Greenaway

Anna Grace Greenaway CAYCE:Funeral service for Anna Grace Runkle Greenaway, 81, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 18, 2011, at Faith Lutheran Church, 1717 Platt Springs Road, West Columbia. Officiating will be Rev. Tommy Lineberger. Burial will follow at Woodridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. this (THURSDAY) evening at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. The family is at the home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 3228, West Columbia, SC 29171. Mrs. Greenaway passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, February 15, 2011, after a long illness. Born in Fayette, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Stephenson Runkle and Huldah Jane Leonard Runkle, and loving wife of Earl Gene Greenaway. She was retired from Sears and a member of Transfiguration Lutheran Church. She loved to travel and enjoyed fishing with her husband. Surviving in addition to her husband, are her two sons, Jeffrey E. Greenaway and wife, Terry, and Christopher William Greenaway; also two grandchildren, Dallas Greenaway and Alex Greenaway.
