Obituary of Ronald DuPont

Ronald Charles DuPont, Jr. N. CHARLESTON— Funeral services for Ronald Charles DuPont, Jr., 51, of North Charleston, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2011 at the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Burial will follow in Celestial Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1-2 prior to the service. After a long illness Ronald Charles DuPont, Jr. passed away on March 4, 2011. Surviving are his wife, Mary Lou DuPont of Charleston; mother, Alma Gamble DuPont of Columbia and his father, Ronald Charles DuPont of Charleston; two step-sons, Scott Vest and Chris Vest both of Columbia; sister, Denise DuPont of New Mexico; 3 grandchildren, Denise Vest, Bradley Vest and Abbie Vest. He was preceded in death by his brother Jason Gamble DuPont. The family would like to thank Piedmont Hospice for the loving care of Mr. DuPont.
