Obituary of JOYCE GAMMONS

Joyce Wilson Gammons, 68, widow of William (Bill) Gammons, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011. She was born January 23, 1943 in Eastover, SC to the late Tom and Flossie Wilson. She is survived by her beloved children, Scott Gammons of Chesapeake, VA, Vicki Gammons of Eastover and Courtney Gammons of Eastover; her grandchildren, Brian, Kevin and Dylan; her brother, Clyde ?Buck? Wilson; sisters, Linda Hunter and Gloria Wilson; brother-in-law, Barry Hunter; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She was predeceased by her son, Wayne Gammons; sisters, Christine Wilson O?Kelly and Dorothy Wilson Hull; a niece, Sharon Wilson Rombough; and her granddog ?Sam?. A memorial service for Mrs. Gammons will be held at Oak Grove Baptist Church - Congress Road Eastover at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2011. The family will receive friends Friday, March 25, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at her residence, 830 Willie Wilson Road, Eastover. Greenlawn Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
