Chris and I were good friends when we studied Microbiology together at Clemson. After graduation, I attended USC and lived with Chris and Carol in Columbia. I will always remember Chris for his humor, his warmth, love for Carol and for family and sports. I am sure he will be truly missed by those whose life he touched. I will miss you Chris.

From my family to yours - our deepest sympathies in this time of grief. It is always hard loosing a loved one so quickly. I had the good fortune to meet Chris a few times when he came to LaGrange and thought he was a thoroughly charming person. I am so sad he dropped the body so unexpectedly but know he is with his God and at peace now. His pain is gone. Jesus is arranging the mansions for us all and we will all meet again one day.

Chris and I became friends when we both worked at SCDHEC. That friendship continued over thirty years. He was the guy you recommended to clients because you knew he would treat them right and make you look good. He will be missed so very much.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. When we lose someone in death, the pain, the grief and the feeling of helplessness can seem unbearable. At that time, we need to go to God's word for comfort. The Bible calls the almighty "the God of all comfort who comforts us in all our tribulation." (2Corinthians 1:3,4) I hope that reading and meditating on this scripture will help you cope with the loss of your loved one.

Jim and I are shocked and deeply saddened to learn of Chris' passing. Although it has been many (too many) years since we have seen Carol and Chris, you have been on my mind a lot lately. I had been wanting to find you again - did not realize you were in town.
Please accept our most sincere sympathy and know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
May God carry you in the Palm of His Hand.
With love,
