Obituary of Ola Hendrix

Ola Hendrix CAYCE—Funeral service for Ola Mae Hendrix, 80, of Cayce will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at State Street Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. David Braxton, Jr. and Rev. Dr. Tommy Pillow. Burial will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday evening at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 520 Gervais Street, Suite 300, Columbia, SC 29201. Mrs. Hendrix, widow of William Dennis Hendrix, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2011. Born in Fitzgerald, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Jake Nasworth and Selma Troupe Nasworth. She was a longtime area resident and a member of State Street Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughters, Linda Braxton (David) of Cayce and Brenda Love (John) of Lexington; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sister, Lorena Mitchell of Spartanburg.
