Obituary of Herbert Crisp

Herbert Lee Crisp WEST COLUMBIA—Funeral services for Herbert Lee Crisp, 67, of West Columbia, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 25, 2011 at the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Officiating will be Rev. Rocky Purris. Burial will be held at 4 p.m. in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Agape Hospice Foundation, 805 Buff Street, West Columbia, SC 29169. Mr. Crisp, beloved husband of Patricia Finney Crisp, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2011. Born in Franklin, NC, he was the son of the late Clyde Crisp and Jessie Wooten Crisp. He had been an area resident for the past 37 years and a member of Northside Baptist Church. He was a manager for Fluor Daniel Construction Company. Surviving in addition to his wife, Pat Crisp of West Columbia; daughter, Tracy Zakes (Nick) of Gilbert; son, Jeff Crisp (Sherry) of West Columbia; three beautiful grandchildren, Bryson Zakes, Kayla and Lilly Crisp; sister, Ella Mae Fox (Ray) of Bryson City, NC; brother, Harold Crisp (Louise) of Franklin, NC.
