Obituary of Margaret Areheart

Margaret Areheart LEXINGTON—Funeral services for Margaret Areheart, 52, of Lexington, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Paul Aebischer and Rev. Ryan Lyles. Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Lutheran Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Ms. Areheart passed away on May 8, 2011. Born in Columbia, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Earl Areheart, Sr. and Brilla Ann Hobbs Areheart. She was a longtime employee of NCR, a member of Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church and she loved all animals, especially cats. She was a loving sister, aunt and great-aunt and devoted godmother to several nieces. Surviving are her brother, Ernest E. Areheart, Jr. (Rhonda) of Lexington; sisters, Ginette A. Boone (Billy J.) of West Columbia and Charlotte H. Gable (Dwight) of Irmo; and a number of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; special and dear friend, Susan McClellan; and her beloved cat, "Kitty." She was preceded in death by a maternal grandmother, Margaret L. A. Hobbs. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Lexington County Sheriff's Department and Investigations for all their hard work. Memorials may be made to Mt.
