Katherine "Kathi" Wilson Hinds WEST COLUMBIA: Memorial service for Katherine Wilson Hinds, 52, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2011, at Ashland United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Joel Jones. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ashland United Methodist Church, 2600 Ashland Rd., Columbia, SC 29210. Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington is assisting the family. Kathi, beloved wife of Frank David Hinds, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2011. Born in Florence, SC, she was a daughter of Katherine Revell Wilson and the late Charles Wilson. She was a member of Ashland United Methodist Church. Kathi loved to travel; she was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Surviving are her mother, Katherine Wilson of Timmonsville, husband, Frank Hinds of West Columbia; step-daughter, Anson Berger (Rob) of Florence; step-son, John Hinds of Charlotte; brother, Steve Wilson (Sherry) of Summerville; two grandchildren, Kori and Sullivan Berger.
