Obituary of Corrie Goins

Corrie Dailey Goins WEST COLUMBIA—Funeral services for Corrie Dailey Goins, 93, of West Columbia, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Grace Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Rusty Rabon and Rev. Steve Kitrell. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Ms. Goins, widow of Lonnie O. Goins, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2011. Born in Kershaw County, she was the daughter of the late William Dailey and Corrie Carter Dailey. She was a lifelong area resident and a member of Grace Chapel. She loved gardening, fishing, making rugs and visiting the senior citizen center in Pineridge. Surviving are daughters Judith Lang of Gaston, Beverly Schumpert of West Columbia, Janice Ballentine of West Columbia and Doris Burkett (Walter) of West Columbia; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
