Obituary of Kim Caughman

Kim Murray Caughman LEESVILLE—Funeral services for Kim Murray Caughman, 45, of Leesville, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2011 in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Officiating will be Dr. William H. "Bill" Drees. Honorary pallbearers will be her co-workers at Richland Memorial Hospital. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Palmetto Richland Children's Hospital, PO Box 100199, Dept. 274, Columbia, SC 29202. Ms. Caughman passed away on Friday, July 22, 2011. Born in Charleston, she was the daughter of Allan Murray and step-mother, Becky Murray. She was a lifetime area resident and a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church. She was an employee of Palmetto Health Richland for the past 25 years. She loved animals, fishing, and her caring co-workers, children and family. Surviving are her father, Allan Murray and step-mother, Becky Murray of West Columbia; daughter, Samantha Caughman and son, Blake Caughman both of Lexington; step-sister, Julie Jorgenson of Milton, FL and Tammy Watford of York, SC; brothers, John Murray (Johnnette) of Pelion and Steve Murray of Chapin.
