Obituary of Alexis Barber

Alexis Rose Barber IRMO: Services for Baby girl, Alexis Rose Barber will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2011, at Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church, officiated by Chaplain Dave Dedonato and Chaplain David Lee. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday evening at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Palmetto Health Baptist, NICU, c/o Palmetto Health Foundation, P.O. Box 602575, Charlotte, NC 28260-2575. On July 30, 2011, an Angel was born into this world, Alexis Rose Barber. On August 16, 2011, God decided he needed her there with him and she gained her wings. She fought hard and has now passed on her strength and courage as she watches over Mommy, Daddy, and her twin sister Mackenzie Li. Surviving are her parents, Scott Barber and July Simmalavong Barber; twin sister, Mackenzie Li Barber, maternal grandparent, Yiou Simmalavong; paternal grandparents, Don Barber and Linda Rose Creech.
