Obituary of Sybil Cunningham

Sybil Lee Cunningham LEXINGTON: Services for Sybil Lee Cunningham, 68, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2011, in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, officiated by Rev. Ralph Schneck and Rev. Hector Rodriguez. Interment will follow at Woodridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12 until 1 p.m. prior to service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210. Mrs. Cunningham went to be with her Lord Wednesday, August 24, 2011. Born in Columbia, SC, she was a daughter of the late Robert E. Collingwood and Sybil Lee Moore Collingwood. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lexington and was a Sunday School teacher to the children. She loved the Lord, her children and grandchildren. Survivors are: her husband of 51 years, Roy Cunningham; daughter, Kimberley Lloyd (Norman); sons, Roy Steven Cunningham (Serena) and Shawn Cunningham (Shawn) all of Lexington; sisters, Jackie Watford of West Columbia, Bennie Hite (Harold) of Lexington and Robin Bartsch (Mark) of Chapin; brothers, Robert E. Collingwood, Jr. (Patsy) and Warren Collingwood of Columbia; seven grandchildren, Jason Cunningham (Sabrina), Chris Cunningham, Logan Cunningham, Robin Cunningham, MyAnn Cunningham, Kailey Cunningham, Tristen Cunningham, Robert and Toni Connell; two great grandchildren, Kayden and Kinley Cunningham.
