Obituary of Ann Lewis

A visitation honoring Ann Blagg Lewis will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2011from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 845 Leesburg Road Columbia, SC 29209. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made in her memory to SCMMGA (South Carolina Midlands Master Gardeners Association ) Attn: Mary Kelly, 4604 Lander Street Columbia, SC 29206. Ann was a graduate of the University of South Carolina holding a Masters Degree in Library Science. She recently retired from Crayton Middle School, after dedicating 35 years to the students and faculty in Richland School District One. Her proudest, and most recent accomplishment was the completion of the S.C. Master Gardeners Course. Ann is survived by her husband, Jim and their son Greg and his fiancé Sarah; her sister, Mary Lou Brewton and her husband Charlie; her niece, Casey Brewton; and great-niece, Kelsey Grace Brewton; JoAnn Decker and Duane and Cathy Lewis.
