Obituary of Harriet Todd

WEST COLUMBIA— Harriet Davis Todd of West Columbia passed away on September 26 after a noble battle with cancer. A native of Laurens, she was born in 1933 and lived in West Columbia for 56 years. A homemaker who raised her four children, she also worked at the Lexington School District Two district office and at Brookland Cayce High School. She was a charter member and elder of Providence Presbyterian Church, a member of the Women's Club of West Columbia and an avid bridge player. Harriet is survived by her husband of 56 years, Richards Todd, and their children and their families: Polly and Ron Laffitte of Spartanburg; Rick and Susan Todd of Columbia; Ruth Todd and Dan Baker of San Francisco, CA; Steve and Kelly Todd of Wilmington, NC; and grandchildren, Sarah Morris, Ron Laffitte and Mary Holland Todd. The service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Providence Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall following the service.
