Obituary of Linda McGee

Linda Hoffman McGee COLUMBIA: Services for Linda Hoffman McGee, 66, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2011, in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia, officiated by Rev. Glen McGugan, Sr. Interment will follow at Olympia Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, October 27 at the funeral home. Mrs. McGee went to be with her Lord Tuesday, October 25, 2011. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Robert R. Hoffman and Jennie Carrigg Hoffman. She was a member and missions leader of the Church of God of Prophecy. Mrs. McGee retired from the SC State Hospital. Surviving are her loving husband of 47 years Donald R. McGee; daughters, Cindy Smith (Herbert), Donna Adams (Michael), Wanda George (Alex), and Pamela Lee (Robert IV); sisters Marjorie Walker, Barbara Smith, June Farmer, and Kaye Elkins; brother Robert Hoffman; grandchildren Jessica, Robby, Justin, Brooke, Jordan, Ryan, and Cody; great-grandchildren Jaylyn and Peyton.
