Obituary of Bobby Watkins

Bobby J. Watkins, 79, died at home on Saturday, October 29, 2011. He served God, Country, and family with distinction. As a Vietnam and Korean War veteran, a visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home. A graveside service with full military honors will follow at 1:00p.m. Tuesday at Fort Jackson National Cemetery. Chaplain Gerald Eller will officiate. Surviving are his loving wife of 53 years, Inge C. Watkins; sons, Robert Watkins, James (Sandi) Watkins, Mike (Candace) Watkins, and Kevin (Connie) Watkins; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a twin brother, Billy (Pat) Watkins; 5 sister-in-laws; several nieces and nephews.
