Obituary of Clayton Bagnal

Clayton B. "C.B." Bagnal, Jr. WEST COLUMBIA: Service for Clayton B. "C.B." Bagnal, Jr., 91, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2011, in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, officiated by Rev. Shane Phillips. Interment will follow at West Side Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be David Dangerfield, Phillip Dangerfield, Clay Staples, Derrell Bickley, Eddie Porter and Phillip Prynne. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. this Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Bagnal went to be with the Lord, Monday, November 21, 2011. Born in Columbia, SC, he was a son of the late Clayton B. Bagnal, Sr., and Mary Lila McCall Bagnal. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII; and was retired from Bagnal Builders Supply Company. Mr. Bagnal was very active in the Baptist Faith; he was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. Surviving is: his daughter, Donna B. Heath (Albert) of Alcolu; son, David B. Bagnal (Pam) of Lilburn, GA; brother, Richard Earnest Bagnal of Hopkins; and a granddaughter, Hannah Bagnal of Atlanta, GA.
