Obituary of Seth Oblachinski

Seth Hunt Oblachinski (age 30) of Lexington, SC, passed away peacefully at his home, comforted by his family, on the evening of November 30, 2011. He bravely fought a brain tumor since diagnosed in June 2010. Seth was born on January 21, 1981 in Columbia, SC. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Charlotte and Glenn Grecco, of Sumter SC, his father and stepmother, Kirby and Lynne Oblachinski of Irmo SC, his brother Joshua Davis Oblachinski and his stepsisters, Jennifer Bagnal, Jessica Major and Julianna Bessent. He will also be greatly missed by his uncle and aunt, Craig and Mignonette Hunt and his cousin Alyssa Hunt. Seth was the long time companion of Mary Beth Jones. He loved his two dogs, Oscar and Peanut. Seth graduated from Irmo High School in 1999. After attending Midlands Technical College, he pursued a career in real estate. He was the recipient of the Regal Award for over $3 million in home sales for the years 2007 and 2008. In 2008 he was Sales Agent of the Year for D. R. Horton. Seth was consistently a top producing sales agent throughout his career. His mother, Charlotte Hunt Grecco, will be receiving friends Sunday afternoon, 1-6PM, in her home at 3005 Hermitage Dr., Deerfield Plantation, Sumter, SC. Funeral services will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Funeral Home, 845 Leesburg Rd., Columbia, SC at 2 PM Tuesday, December 6, 2011. Graveside service at Greenlawn Memorial Park will follow, where he will be laid to rest in the Hunt family plot near his grandparents, Charles and Doris Hunt. A special viewing reserved for family will be offered starting at 1 PM prior to the funeral service. Craig and Mignonette Hunt of 1523 Laburnum Drive, Columbia, will welcome visitors in their home following the funeral service.
