Obituary of Stacy Crim

Stacy E. Crim SWANSEA—Funeral services for Stacy E. Crim, 88, of Swansea, will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Mark A. Altman and Mr. Larry Wannamaker. Burial will follow in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday evening at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. Mr. Crim passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2011. Born in Calhoun County, he was the son of the late James Thomas Crim and Minnie Rebecca Crider Crim. He was a lifelong area resident and Life Member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. He retired after many years of devoted service from South Carolina School Bus Maintenance Shop. He loved his garden and his chickens. Surviving are his daughters, Susan Fellers (Terry) of Prosperity and Gladys Sikes (Jimmy) of St. Matthews; son, Donald "Gene" Crim (Jill) of St. Matthews; five grandchildren, April Coleman of Swansea, Glynnis Abraham (Tad) of Pomaria, James Sikes of Urbana, IL, Chris Sikes of St. Matthews and Jeff Fellers (Jenny) of Pomaria; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Emily Shuler (Tom) of Cayce and Gertrude Corley (Robert) of West Columbia. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Virginia Wadford Crim; a sister, Eunice Furtick and a brother, T.B. Crim. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt.
