Obituary of Anthony Finocchi

Anthony G. Finocchi CAYCE—Funeral services for Anthony G. Finocchi, 56, of Cayce, will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2012 in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Officiating will be Rev. Ed Lynch. The family will receive friends from 4:30 until 6 p.m. prior to the service. Mr. Finocchi, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2012. Born in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of Carmen Finocchi and Patricia Marie. Mr. Finocchi was employed with the Federal Aviation Administration where he worked as a Safety Inspector. Formerly of Las Vegas, NV, he has been a resident here since 1998. Mr. Finocchi was a very honest, giving, loving man, with a great love for animals. Surviving Mr. Finocchi are his mother Patricia Marie Godin of Houston, TX, daughter; Marie Sun Finocchi of Cayce, SC, sister; Susan Alagna (Joseph) of Houston, TX, brother; Carmen Finocchi (Kim) of Buffalo, NY, step-brothers; Jerry Finocchi of FL and Larry Finocchi of Atlanta, GA. He was preceded in death by his step-father, George Godin. Memorials may be made in Mr. Finocchi's honor to ASPCA at 121 Humane Lane, Columbia, SC 29209.
