Obituary of Frank Andrew Peters

Frank Andrew Peters, III 64, of West Columbia, South Carolina passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 13, 2015. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Frank and Helen Rider Peters. Frank loved to cook, travel and spend time with his family. He was also an avid photographer and loved to document family events. He served proudly on the USS Daniel Boone Nuclear Submarine from 1969-1970. He was a member of VFW Post 8738 in Lexington. He worked at Sox & Sons Construction as a Project Manager for 20 years and loved every day of it. He will be missed by many friends as well as his family. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Nancy Sox Peters; his sons, Frank "Andrew" (Christy) and Michael Trent Jeffcoat; and his grandson, Walker Trent Jeffcoat all of West Columbia; and his sisters, Yvonne Arbuckle (Kenneth), Beverly Kirik both of Pittsburgh, PA; and brother, John Bradley of Brookville, PA; and also many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his loving brothers and sisters in law, Jack Sox (Lillianna), Joe Sox, Hughette Peeples (Ronnie). He also leaves his mother in law, Jacqueline Sox; Aunt, Sara Quinton; and dear friend, Mary Jane Adams. He was preceded in death by his brother, Martin Vincent; and his father in law, Robert H. Sox. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM Funeral services will be at 2:00PM on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Interment will be in Lexington Memorial Cemetery.
