Obituary of Michael Carr

Michael George Lee Carr, 69, of Columbia, SC, passed away September 21, 2023.

He was born in Parkersburg, WV, on December 3, 1954 and was the son of the late Carl D. Carr, Sr. and Esta Jean Carr.

He was a 1973 graduate of St. Marys High School in St. Marys, WV.

Survivors include his brother, William Neil Carr (Janice) of Temple, TX; nephews, Brian Michael Willson (Lisa), John Phillip Carr (Kristi), Jason Christopher Carr (Carmen), David Paynter and Christopher Paynter; and several great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia J. Willson, brother, Carl D. Carr, Jr. and nephew, Joseph S. Carr.

Private services will be held at a later date on Hilton Head Island, SC.
