Obituary of Virginia Prince

Virginia "Carol" Carolyn Prince, 76, of Lexington, SC, died Friday, September 15, 2023 with her loving husband and children by her side. Born in Columbia, SC, June 11th, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Virginia Dennis. Carolyn (Virginia) will be remembered as a wonderful and loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a proud wife, and she and Kenneth Prince celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary this year. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include husband, Kenneth Prince, of Lexington; daughter, Kelly Prince-Smitt and husband, Jeffcoat, of Pelion; son, Bradley Prince and Tiffany Prince, of Lexington; 4 grandchildren, Dustin Bashore, Emma Prince, Cohen Prince, and Tenley Prince; 1 great-grandchild, Knox Bashore; 2 sisters, Toni Dailey, of Columbia, and Wendy Price (Marvin), of Columbia; sister-in-law, Pam Williamson, of Gaston; brother-in-law, Michael Prince (Joyce) of Holly Hill; and several loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Prince was preceded in death by, two brother-in-laws, Donald Dailey and Jimmy Williamson.
