Obituary of Vera Iris Dorn

Vera Iris Dorn, 94, passed away peacefully September 4, 2023 at NHC Healthcare in West Columbia, SC.  She was born in Edgefield, SC on September 22, 1928 to the late George Edward Dorn and Mary Esma Dorn. 

She is survived by her brother, John Dorn; her nieces, Connie Smith Bagwell (Donnie), Julie Lindler Fersner (Gerald), Kathy Lindler Dukes, Susie Smith Pennington (Alvin), and Becky Dorn; her nephew, Eric Smith; and several grand nieces and nephews.  She is pre-deceased by her sisters, Jean Dorn Smith and Syble Dorn Lindler, and her brothers, Rhett Dorn and Roger Dorn.

Visitation will be held at Thompson Funeral Home at 4720 Augusta Rd, Lexington, SC 29073 on Monday, September 11, 2023 at 12 noon with a memorial service to begin at 1pm.
