Obituary of Christine Lynn Davis

Christine Lynn Davis, age 72, died peacefully on August 21, 2023. Chris was born in Olean, NY to Jane MacDonald, who currently resides in West Columbia, SC, and is 100 years old, and the late John R. MacDonald.

Happily married for 51 years, Chris and Larry Davis have always resided in West Columbia, SC, where they raised their two sons. Chris cherished every minute she spent with her sons and their families.

Along with her mother and husband, Chris is survived by her two sons, Matt (Sandra) Davis and children, Logan, Kaitlyn, and Landon of Lexington, SC; and Kevin (Alice) Davis, and children, Blake, Delaney, and Lilli Jane of Rock Hill, SC. She is also survived by her brother, John T. MacDonald (Diane) of Chapel Hill, NC and sister, Catherine (Buck) Stadler of Winston-Salem, NC, along with, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Nanny, as her six grandchildren referred to her, was the kind of person that made every moment feel magical. She was one of a kind and made everyone feel like someone special. She was fun, loving, caring, adventurous, and the best Nanny you could ever have.

Funeral services will take place at Mount Tabor Lutheran Church on Saturday, August 26, 2023. Visitation will be held from 9-10:30am before the 11am service at Mount Tabor. Burial services will be private.
