Obituary of Bobbie Sue Gibson Connor

Bobbie Sue Gibson Connor of Eastover, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, surrounded by her family at home. She was born on December 15, 1954, the daughter of Miyoko and Robert Gibson, Jr. She graduated from Lower Richland High School and attended the University of South Carolina. She married the love of her life, Horace Wayne Connor Jr., nearly 47 years ago. They were the parents of Brandon Wayne Connor.

She is survived by her husband; her sister, Linda McCullough Romeo of Arizona; her niece, Samantha Raulerson of Columbia; and her mother-in-law, Vernon Connor of Columbia.

She is predeceased by her parents; her beloved son, Brandon; her sister, Patricia Blizzard; and her father- in- law, Horace Wayne Connor Sr.

She worked for Richland Library Southeast until her retirement in 2018.

Bobbie loved people and she used that quality while working at the library to develop many friends on the library staff as well as interacting with library patrons. Bobbie had a wonderful sense of humor and was everybody’s friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.
