Obituary of Stacey Lynn Moran
Stacey Lynn Moran, 44, of Lexington, South Carolina passed away on July 23, 2023, after a long-fought battle with cancer. Stacey was surrounded by her closest family and friends.
Stacey was born June 9th, 1979, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She obtained a degree in computer technology and went on to a successful career in the insurance industry.
As anyone who knew can testify, she was a truly special human. Stacey was a dedicated wife and proud mother of her two children. Stacey shines through them, and the love she instilled is obvious in the way they walk in the world. She was also a loving daughter and a stellar friend, always there for those she loved; no matter her own pain or personal obligation. Stacey cared deeply, and to be on the receiving end of her love was an absolute honor.
Hilarious. Loving. Brilliant. Beautiful. Inspiring. Brave. No-nonsense. Warrior.
Stacey embodied the term resilience and redefined it for most who walked with her through her journey. She is finally free of pain, and we’re confident she’s soaring high and will always be watching over us.
Stacey is survived by her parents, Richard Nicholson and Debra Gore; her loving husband of 24 years, James Moran; children, Trenton and Annalise Moran; sisters, Stephanie Nicholson and Sara Parnell; along with her extended family including aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Goodbye Stace, friend, confidant, wife, mother, daughter, sister, and huge piece of our heart.
A celebration of life ceremony will be planned for a later date.
