Obituary of Jack Robert Bradshaw

Jack Robert Bradshaw passed away on July 4, 2023 at Rice Estates Bernard. He was born on August 20, 1930 in Thomaston, GA, to the late Clyde and Allie Mae Bradshaw.

Jack married Anne Allen Bradshaw of Zebulon, GA, on December 3, 1950. They were blessed to have three children, a daughter, Karen, and two sons, Allen and Scott. Jack was a dedicated Christian and a minister of the Gospel, he also served as a chaplain in the U.S. Navy and retired at the rank of Commander. Jack loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren very much. He enjoyed spending time with them and his church family as often as possible. Jack enjoyed traveling and seeing new places, which the Navy provided. After retirement, he continued traveling with an Airstream trailer, seeing all of the National Parks.

Jack will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. Jack is predeceased by his wife, Anne, and his daughter, Karen Claire Bradshaw King. Jack is survived by his loving sons, Allen and Scott, six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

Jack's family will visit with friends on Monday, July 10, from 1-2pm at Thompson Funeral Home, Greenlawn Memorial Park.  Funeral services will begin at 2pm in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will take place Tuesday, July 11, at 11am in Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
