Obituary of David Larkins

David Larkins, lovingly known by his family as ”Popi”, lived a full and happy life. David was born August 11, 1945, in Annapolis MD, joined the military directly after high school, retired from the Army in 1986, became a MD State Police Officer, then explored several other job opportunities before he retired for good at the ripe age of 72.

David (Popi) was always there for all of his children. He was an outstanding provider as a husband and remarkable father, grand-father, uncle, brother and role model to many who loved him. He was kind, patient, and very loving but most of all, he was a man of God whose life of integrity set the standard that we all looked up to.

David left this earth on June 22, 2023. David is survived by his wife, Ulrike Larkins; his children, Chrystal, David Wesley, Frederick, Patricia, Dorothy, and Jamilah; elder brother, John; sisters, Beverly and Dorothy; and a plethora of nieces, nephews, cousins and grandchildren.
