Obituary of Edward Rudoph Mills

Eddie R. Mills, 64, of Gaston, SC lost his battle with cancer on Thursday June 1, 2023 at Lexington Medical Center. He is was born Augusta 20th, 1958 in Columbia, SC to the late Archie Mills and Maelene Crawford Mills.  Eddie retired as an electrician.

Mr. Mills is surived by his loving wife of 40 years, Patrica Hartley Mills; one brother, Marty Mills of Sandy Run, SC; and his mother-in-law, Dora Hartley of Neeses, SC.  He is also survived by his brothers-in-law and their family, sisters-in-law and their family, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.  Eddie was predeceased by this patents, Archie and Malene Mills; father-in-law, Milladge Hartley of Neeses, SC; and several of his aunts and uncles.

Services will be held graveside on Monday, June 5, 2023 in Southland Memorial Gardens at 2:00pm. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm. Pastor Mike Holyfield will be the officiate the service.  Dress is casual attire.
