Obituary of Richard Earl Pou

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Richard “Rickie” Earl Pou, age 40 of Gilbert, South Carolina. Rickie passed unexpectedly May 14th, 2023. He was born January 21st 1983.

Rickie is survived by his wife Gina Pou; Beloved children, Daughters Brennan and Kelison Pou, Sons Grayson Smith (Toni), Tristan Smith; Known as Grumpy to his three grandchildren Emberly, Gracyn, and Axel Smith, all of Gilbert, South Carolina. Brothers Robbie Pou(Angie) of Lexington, South Carolina, Charles Ripley (Kristen) of Johnston, South Carolina; Sister Libbie Powers (Robby) of Aiken, South Carolina; Mother Frankie Ripley (Rip) of Monetta, South Carolina; Predeceased by his Father Robert Richard Pou of Wagener, South Carolina.

Rickie by trade worked all of his career as an Industrial Electrician but was a man of many talents. Those who knew him, knew he could do anything. He loved his Clemson Tigers, all things outdoors including hunting, fishing, grilling, and spending time boating and camping on Lake Murray with his family and traveling. He was always the life of the party and lit up every room he entered.

A celebration of life gathering will be held at Hollow Creek Community Center, 2701 Priceville Road, Gilbert, SC 29054 on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at 1:00.
