Obituary of Arthur F. Yankasky

Arthur Franklin Yankasky of West Columbia, SC, age 90 years, died at home after a long illness on May 7, 2023.

Arthur was a native of Chicago, IL. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. A graduate of Chicago Technical College, Arthur enjoyed a successful career in Quality Assurance with various companies and retiring from United Technologies.

Arthur is survived by his wife, Cynthia Robinson Yankasky; son, Arthur R. Yankasky (Angela) of Elizabethtown, NC; son, Jonathan Yankasky (Dawne) of New Carlisle, Ohio; and daughter, Barbara Yankasky Norton of Mt. Pleasant, SC. Arthur also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and 4 step great grandchildren.

A private celebration of life will be held at Arthurs home. No visitation is planned.

It is the wish of Arthur that if friends and family are led to give memorials in his memory, please send gifts to an animal shelter of givers choice or to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
