Obituary of Mark Sheps

Born in Castro Valley, California Mark was the only son and the eldest child of late Efraim and Billie Joy Sheps. He was raised in Vacaville, California where he attended Will C. Wood High School and played on the school’s football team. 

He married Leilani Darbyshire in 2004, and they welcomed their first son Efraim in 2007 and their son Ethan Sheps in 2014. Mark and Leilani settled in Leesville, South Carolina in 2008 where they raised their beautiful family.

Mark was a true family man with a kind and loving soul. He loved playing his video games with his sons. He was very proud of his son Efraim’s involvement in high school ROTC program and Ethan’s love of learning. 

Mark had a great circle of friends that will greatly miss their time with him.

He was passionate about what was happening in our world; he was loyal, loving, and his bigger than life personality could steal all the attention in any room.

Mark is survived by his wife, Leilani; his two amazing sons, Efraim (15) and Ethan (8); and his sister, Margaret.
