Obituary of Susan Betty Britting

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Susan Betty Britting. She died at the age of 74 on March 27, 2023 in her home surrounded by her husband of 54 years and her two loving sons. Susan was a true warrior, battling multiple forms of cancer over the last decade. Susan was a kind and gentle woman who loved tinkering in her garden and watching her granddaughters blossom into beautiful young women. Susan is survived by her husband, Frank Britting Jr. who lives in Columbia, SC, her son Frankie Britting and his two daughters, Sophia and Elizabeth, who also live in Columbia, SC, and her son Kevin Britting and his wife, Kinsey, who live in Highlands Ranch, CO.

Arrangements have been made for a service at Thompson Funeral Home followed by the burial of Susan’s cremated remains at Fort Jackson Cemetery on Thursday, April 6th. We welcome all friends and family to attend.
