Obituary of Eva Mae Simpson

Eva Mae Simpson, 85, of West Columbia, South Carolina, passed away March 13, 2023.  She was born on August 19, 1937 in Knightsville, SC, to the late James and Mabel Knight.

Eva was predeceased by her husband, Harry Simpson.

Eva was a loyal supporter of The Fellowship of Christian Athletes and His House Ministries.

She was a long time bookkeeper for Jimmy Martin Real Estate.

She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Eva is survived by her daughter, Susan Jenkinson (Mitch) and her son, James Simpson and two grandchildren, Eva Coston(Clark) and Harry Jenkinson(Kristina). 

The family would like to thank Mary McCray and Laura Friers for their support and care.

A Graveside service will be held on Monday, March 20, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Celestial Memorial Gardens, 3111 Delree St., West Columbia, SC.  Visitation will be earlier that day from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, 4720 Augusta Rd., Lexington, SC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Fellowship of Christian Athletes or His House Ministries.
