Shayne & Sharon, Your Father was a one-of-a-kind person that lived a truly remarkable life. We feel lucky to have gotten to know him and Sarah over two decades , I will always treasure the memories I have with your Dad & visits in the yard, taking them fruits & vegetables home grown, sharing fresh fish plates with your dad, he always watched out for the safety of our kids when they were little getting off school bus, or out riding their bicycles, he loved watching the birds, making sure each feeder always had seed, he loved working on a lawnmower back in the day, spent a many days tinkering with things in the backyard, he was great at fixing things & loved driving that truck bright and early when he was able, the little visits the kids and I would have with Gene, times he would sit out there on the porch always smiling, and gave a cheerful hello and wave, Here’s to celebrating the life of a great person and mourning Gene's passing with you in every possible way. He will be missed by many.,Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Hoping that the support of loved ones brings you comfort during this sad time.
