Obituary of Freddie Eugene Hayes

Freddie Eugene Hayes (66) went to his heavenly home earlier Sunday morning, February 19th, 2023, with his loved ones by his side.

Freddie was born March 30th, 1956, in West Columbia, South Carolina, to Olin and the late Dixie Hayes.

He is survived by his loving wife, Debora Hayes of 30 years; his loving father, Olin Hayes (Rachel); his loving sister, Wendy Hayes; his nephew, Scott Ray (Brandi) who he had a very special bond with; nephew, Michael Hayes; nieces, Erica Ezzelle (Scotty) and Amber Hayes (Kevin); great nieces, Alexus & Caroline Ray, Madison and Kayla Ezzelle and Kassidy Bozard; his best friend, Henry Abettya; and all his family and friends who loved him dearly.

He was predeceased by his mother, Dixie Hayes; his brothers, Olin Hayes Jr and Claude Edward Hayes; and his sister, Rita Kay Hayes.

We will receive friends and family Wednesday, February 22nd, 2023 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Thompson Funeral Home at 4720 Augusta Rd. Lexington, SC 29073. All other times at the Family Home in West Columbia, SC.
