Obituary of Terry W. Miller

Terry William Miller, 65, of Hopkins, SC passed away February 14, 2023. He was born January 13, 1958, in Roanoke, VA to the late William and Juanita Miller.  Terry’s parents moved to Columbia, SC shortly after he was born.   

Terry graduated from Lower Richland High School.  He then opened his first place of business, A-1 Automotive, where he worked repairing cars.  He always had a real passion for motorcycles, which led him to Kirby’s Harley Davidson, where he worked and learned from his buddy, Dan.  Later on, Terry decided to open his own shop, named Hawg Wild Cycles.   

Prior to opening his shop, he had met and married the love of his life, Patricia Miller.  He adoringly decided to marry her on Valentine’s Day.  They were married for 30 years, and he sadly passed on the day of their 30th anniversary.   

Terry was a kind and devoted husband, who took on Pat’s children to raise as his own.  He was a good father to them.  His family will love and cherish his memory forever.  He is survived by his wife, Pat; daughter, Tammy Hatcher; son, Alfred Richardson; five grandkids; and five great-grandkids.  He had too many friends to list, but every one of their friendships meant the world to him.  Terry was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his brother, Gregg.   

Terry died from cancer, but he fought the good fight all the way to the end.  He will forever by loved and missed by his family.
