Obituary of Charlie William Hill

Charlie William Hill of Hopkins, S.C. passed away on February 11, 2023. He was born August 14, 1937 to the late LeRoy and Beatrice Hill.

Charlie loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Charlie is survived by his daughter, Tammy Herring (Roy); brothers: Douglas Hill (Carol), Richard Hill, and Ronald Hill (Sylvia; grandsons: Lee Herring (Brittany), and Wayne Skinner; granddaughters: Melanie Derrick (Brandon), Shannon Smith, and Lisa Kesler (Chad); along with great grandchildren: JC Smith, Joshua Smith, Emma Kesler, Madison Derrick, Brooks Derrick, Grayson Herring, and Addie Grace Herring.

He was predeceased by his wife, Vera; daughter, Denise Parsons; brother, LeRoy Hill, Jr.; and sister, Catherine Johnson.

The family is planning a private burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
