Obituary of Lynn Jordan Stidom

Lynn Jordan Stidom of West Columbia, S.C., passed peacefully from this life, January 29, 2023. Born August 23, 1951 in Hartsville, S.C., she is predeceased by maternal grandparents Gus Catoe, Elsie Johnson Catoe, Vena Rebecca Catoe, and paternal grandparents Andrew Jordan and Nancy Wood Jordan. She is also predeceased by father Ducy Jordan, sister Susan Marie Jordan, and son Steven Erik Stidom. She was an avid reader, writer and family genealogist. Loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she is survived by her mother Jean Catoe Jordan, siblings Gregory Allen Jordan, Carole Ann Jordan, Lori Jean Jordan, husband William Gregory Stidom, children William Gregory Stidom II, Ann Stidom Bone, and grandchildren Braeden Orion Bass, Natalie Jordan Bass, Jeromy Mason Bass, Norah Grace Bone and Sophie McKenna Bone.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, charitable donations be made in her honor to: The American Heart Association and The Amyloidosis Foundation.

A viewing and services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 2224 Augusta Highway Lexington, SC 29072, Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 12:00-2:00 with a luncheon being held for the family from 11:00-12:00. A graveside dedication will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery 845 Leesburg Road Columbia, SC 29209.
