Obituary of Robert Dexter Judy, Sr.

A service for Robert D. Judy, Sr., 80, will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel on 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC. We will receive friends and family on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Thompson Funeral Home.

Mr. Judy died on Monday, January 16, 2023 at home. He was born in Richland County, SC. He worked at Coca Cola Company in Columbia, SC for 48 years.

He is survived by his 2 sisters, Rocky Cassels and Janice McPherson; children, Robert D. Judy, Jr. (Angela), Donna Lopez (Edwin), John L. Judy (Robin); 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and lots of good friends and family. He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Thelma Judy, his son, Samuel G. Judy and his daughter, Frances Terry.

He was a great man and will be missed by all.
