Obituary of Donna Lee

Donna Bouknight Lee was born in Columbia, SC on September 5, 1956 and passed away on January 9, 2023. She was the daughter of Albert Wayne Bouknight and Frances Hutto Bouknight. She is survived by her husband, James Lee; daughter, Shonda Lee; daughter-in-law, Miriam Lee and grandson, Dylan Skinner. Also her sisters, Joyce (James) Adams, Frances (Bunkey) Boney and Debbie Ailes (deceased).

She retired from Westinghouse Nuclear Plant after 30 years of service. She loved her dogs, Ace and Luna very much. Also, her grandson Dylan was her heart. She loved him dearly. She enjoyed going to the beach, especially Fripp Island, which was her happy place.

Funeral services will be on January 15, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Thompson Funeral Home on Augusta Rd. Lexington, SC. A visitation will be one hour prior at 1:00. The burial will take place at Union United Methodist Church Irmo, SC.
