Obituary of Gisela Klara Pacheco

Gisela Pacheco, age 88, passed away at her home after a long illness, with sons Angelo and Michael, and daughter Andrea, by her side on Monday, January 9, 2023. Born in Frankenbach, Germany, Gisela, daughter of Maria and Otto Spohn, was pre-deceased by her husband Jose A. Pacheco-Toro, and oldest son Peter Otto Pacheco.

Gisela was a loving mother who raised five children, and Oma to grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will be missed every day. She taught all of us honor and values which will be remembered always, along with wonderful memories to share all of our lives.

Surviving are her children, daughter Andrea Evans-Wolfe (Steve); sons Angelo J. and Michael J. Pacheco; grandson Bryan R. Evans (Kimberly), great grandsons Andrew, William, and Noah; daughter Patricia P. Batten (Vincent); granddaughter Clory E. Foust (Payton), great grandchildren Berkley, Britton and Beckett; grandson Vincent O. Batten; and extended family members and friends.

Many thanks and love to Halcyon Hospice of Lexington caregivers who became family to us – Teresa, Pam, Serra, Donna, and Chaplain Jude Peck. Without their continued support and assistance on this difficult journey, we would not have survived. Our heartfelt thanks to dear family members and friends for love, prayers, and continued support.

A private memorial and family graveside service will be held with Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park assisting the family. Special thanks to Nicole and Brittany, and other Thompson/Greenlawn staff.
