Obituary of David Thomas Ivey

A graveside funeral service will be held for David Thomas Ivey at 1 p.m. Sunday, December 11, 2022, at Zion Lutheran Church, 226 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC. He died Saturday December 3, 2022. 

Mr. Ivey, 51, was born in Charleston, SC, and was currently a resident of Alford, FL. He had lived in several different locations during his 25 years employed in aviation maintenance. He was most recently employed by Home Depot. 

Mr. Ivey was a son of the late Robert Willis Ivey and Melba Corely Ivey. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiancé Melissa Harris, son Tyler Ivey, daughter Hannah Ivey, and grandchildren Nani Ivey, Jeremiah Ivey, and Caeleb Ivey.  

He was predeceased by an infant brother Joseph Willis Ivey.
