Obituary of Manharlal Thakker

Manharlal “Manubhai” Ambalal Thakker passed away early afternoon of November 28, 2022, surrounded by his close friends and family. Manubhai was born on August 14, 1942 in Borsad, Gujarat, India. He is survived by his 4 children (Mayur and his wife Vinita, Ashish and his wife Rita, Shailesh and his wife Sonal, and Nita (Bona) and her husband Saurin) and grandchildren (Abhi and his wife Aastha, Aman, Dimpy, Natasha, Janmeet, Rani, Parth, and Sahil). 

Manubhai and Manjulaben (deceased) were married on May 15, 1958. Manubhai was the head of his family and took great pride in caring for his family and siblings. Over the years, they had the joy of spending time in India and America. 

His ultimate joy in life was spending time with his family, taking god’s name, watching action movies, eating lots of Taco Bell, drinking Pepsi, and listening to music. He was a joy to be around and loved to make jokes and make his family laugh. Manubhai will be missed for his loving, courageous, and entertaining personality. His presence and impact on those around him will never be forgotten.
