Obituary of Alice Easler Maddox

Alice Easler Maddox, 71, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022. Born on June 17, 1951, in Winnsboro, SC, Alice was the daughter of the late Loie Easler, Sr. and Madeline Reynolds Easler. 
 
In addition to her parents, Alice is predeceased by two brothers, Donald L. “Buddy” Easler, Sr. and Loie “Son” Easler, Jr.; one sister, Lola Mae Easler; nephews, Jimmy Kelly, Ronald “Trey” Locklair III, and Chuck Carraway. 
 

Alice is survived by her husband of 42 years, Jeff Maddox; daughter, Allyson (Phil) Bantz; sons, Allen Verne (Pam) Boulware II, and Scott (Megan) Maddox; grandchildren, Morgan Singletary, Holden Bantz, Kyle and Jordyn Boulware, Austin, Whitney, Khloe, Thomas, Grace and Stacy Maddox; and one great-grandchild, Wylder Singletary; sisters, Jeanette (Charles) Carraway and Vickie (Ronnie) Locklair; nephews, Tommy Kelly, Donald Easler, Jr., Ron and Mitch Locklair; nieces, Patti Kelly, Liz Carraway and Toshua Humphries Smith. 

Alice will be remembered for the great love she had for her family.  She enjoyed cooking every Sunday for family get togethers.  She loved going on family beach vacations, and getting together for the holidays.  

 
Services will be held on Saturday at 3 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, with the Rev. Mark Crumpton officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow immediately after the service at Southland Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital
